and went for a long bike ride along the Sammamish River this morning. They were back home by 8:00 am. Yes, we are early risers. I wish I could've joined them, but need to pack, pack, pack (I have 8 70-pound boxes so far and more to go!). I opened the window to hear the bird song and smell the crisp, cool, misty morning air.
8 70-pound boxes! Taking a kitchen sink?:) When do you go? What a great time you'll have! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a most wonderful morning for the boys. I'm always envious of you early risers! I have those days very rarely and I so much enjoy them! I consider everything I get done before I would normally awake to be "free" time as if it was just all magically done.
ReplyDeleteAnd wow.. that's a lot of stuff you take! I hope it goes very well for you and that you have lots of fun. I look forward to one of these events where I can meet you and take your class:)
Lovely that you took a few mins to stop your schedule and capture some of the beautiful morning! All the best with the packing.
ReplyDeletei like getting up early. its so quiet and peaceful listening to the birds and the world waking up slowly. also, i get so much done that way.
ReplyDeleteEarly morning is my favourite time of day - as long as it's not dark out 'cause then I'm supposed to be sleeping! That bottom picture is just beautiful Beverly - so delicate and still - just like an early morning feels.
ReplyDeleteGood work with the packing - sounds like you're making great progress! I hope you kept a slab or two of that chocolate out to reward yourself with when it's all done...
Hi Beverly! I purchased your Eye For Color system a couple of weeks ago and I LOVE it! I posted about it on my blog this morning. Thanks for helping monochrome thinkers like me, think outside that box!

Lovely.
ReplyDeleteI wish I were an early riser, but I'm not, even on Christmas or when going on an exciting trip. But the world is so beautiful during that time, isn't it?
Your guys were ambitious! To get up early and go for a ride before school & work....I'm envious of early risers too.
ReplyDelete8 70 pound boxes?! Are you driving? How are you getting 8 70 pound boxes to Milwaukee? Inquiring minds want to know....
ReplyDeleteI'll be thinking of you while you're packing (well accually you're done by now). Great pics.
