Akebia is one of my favorite vines - unassuming, delicate flowers, light green palm-like leaves, then huge, ugly hotdog shaped fruit if you happen to plant another Akebia in the vicinity! I transplanted the white one to another part of the garden to avoid the fruit.

That is an amazing vine. I have never seen one but you photographs of it are out of this world. The close ups inspire me.
