Who said seaglass only comes in shades of blue?
These gem-like little nuggets of glass are nestled inside a 'Nuttallia obscurata' (purple varnish clam) shell creating a lovely expanded complementary color palette.
Some bits of color fall on the saturated wheel, other shades have cool earthy undertones.
I don't believe I've ever seen seaglass of any sort...those would make stunning earrings!
ReplyDeleteJoyce, there is a lot of sea glass in Nanaimo!
Deletethat orange is rare. i love your color wheels--seems i get a lot of grey glass here in N Carolina.
