Color Inspiration - Anthropologie Cloth Rainbow

Who can resist Anthropologie's gorgeous window displays? This one was in Milwaukee a few years back - a stunning rainbow of analogous colors. Though this photo only captured the orange through green range, the store boasted a full rainbow of saturated hues.

Wouldn't it be fun to dress up a window like this? Red-orange through yellow-green, or perhaps a more watery feel in greens, teals and blues... stick within the same ring of the color wheel for a luscious rainbow of color!

A delightfully pink shop in Holland presents a lovely split complementary palette on the pastel color wheel.

Looking on the inside of my wine glass as the light glows through it, I'm reminded that all colors go together, especially if they lie on the same color wheel and have similar saturation.
