The Last of My Bead Soup Collection
Bead Soup Collection
These colorful mixes were introduced at the 2005 Bead & Button Show and since that time have been used by people all over the world in bead weaving projects, for colorful embellishments in quilts, scarfs, mixed media projects, felting designs... even as bursts of color set in bowls around the house!
They are now discontinued (very time consuming and costly to create), and the few that are left are for sale on my website

Color Inspiration - Magenta Iris
Nature's paintbrush is so vivid - just a thin splash of bright yellow to balance all those luscious magenta hues. Even the dark purple iris bud in the background adds depth to her palette.

Color Inspiration - Sea Glass in Sea Foam Green
One of my sea glass photos is the backdrop for a full page Martha Stewart Living paint ad in the July MSL magazine (pg 24 for those interested). The colors are tweaked and the image is zoomed almost out of recognition - but rather exciting all the same!
| Seed Bead Soup Collection - Lichen |
My colors are a little more subtle than what Martha did with the sea glass - well into the Cool Earthtones, with lavish amounts of grey tying the tumbled glass, clam shell and window ledge together.
Hmmm - just noticed that our entry walls are the color 4th from the right... so yummy!
Enjoy!

Favorite Color? (Blog Hop Winners)
COLOR
How can I choose a favorite?
Each day is a different mood
And each hue fills me with deep emotions
But for today - as I get ready to climb up on a ladder and paint our entry-way a deep, heathered teal...
I have to admit that the lovely range of colors between green and blue make me smile.

Thank you all for swirling through colors with me this last week.
I have loved being a part of this wonderful group of artists who have inspired me to run outside in this cold, rainy December and take pictures! (though admittedly my photos are a bit dark in this cool, grey light).
Here are the lovely winners* (Drum Roll Please):
Your comments have filled my cup and as a thank you, I am offering a SPECIAL DEAL on my eBook: DIP INTO COLOR through tomorrow (6:00 pct). Take a peek here.
Thank you again - I hope your Holidays are filled with color and warmth and music!
