Still Water

Attempting a painting-over-plaster look with new textures I created in Kim Klassen's e-course. Original photo (taken on a misty day) was very washed out and boring... a perfect candidate for doctoring up in Photoshop!

But greys are oh so hard for this color girl - definitely out of my comfort zone!

To Ben

To Ben -
Kim Klassen's dog is undergoing major surgery today after being hit by a truck.

I started with a photo of tall native grasses, then added textures from Kim's incredibly gorgeous Benjamin Collection (to raise funds for Ben's surgery).

Finally I created a card for her pal.

Nostalgic

Thought I play with a soft, teal light, layered with a faint antique panel with 1940's linoleum design.


My son is still sick,
so I sit beside him, rub his head
Made chicken soup and fill his cup with ginger ale
I remember my mother doing the same for me
