An Old Box of Slides

Tacoma Narrows Bridge, 1950

Dad and Carl, 1951

I found a box of family slides from the 1950's
Held them up to a bright window
And took photos with my macro lens

Touched up in Photoshop

  1. Wow Beverly...you did a wonderful job...I'm learning photoshop as it goes...with a little help from Kim too.

ps your dad sure looked very different the last time I've met him....I think of your mom so many times missing him...
How are your holding up girl. Can't wait to sit at your kitchen table and talk for hours..
Let us enjoy xmas and may spring follow soon.

  2. What a great find! Photoshop is wonderful - I took a class over the summer and feel like I barely touched the surface of what I can do with it!

  5. Very clever. I know I have some old slides of Whidbey Island from around 1960. Some day I'll go through them and pass them on to you.
