Women Dancing!

Invisible Bee Yoga - Dance Journey for Women

Thrilled to have one of my paintings celebrated by Invisible Bee Yoga studio in SW Minneapolis!

In designing what looks like a really fun yoga dance class, the instructor felt a connection to my painting (she saw it on Etsy) and approached me with the idea of using it to promote her class.

When I read her class description for 'Dance Journey for Women', I knew these women and I were meant to dance together!

If you are in the SW Minneapolis area - you just HAVE to check out this class (and tell them I sent you!)

Viewing a Painting

'Purple Mist'
I've uploaded it into a wall template design to get a feel of how it might look in a room. What do you think? Better as just the painting, or does it help to see it in a room?

Port Townsend Wooden Boat Show - Boat Building Contest

So proud of my 16 year old... who will be on a wooden boat building team at the Port Townsend Wooden Boat Show this weekend (Sept. 5-7)

Every year the PT Wooden Boat Show hosts a boat building contest - starting with scraps of wood Friday morning at 8:00 to launch of the completed boats on Sunday at noon. The guys that asked Morgan to be on their team run the Port Townsend Wooden Boat Center shop and won the contest last year, so it is a huge honor for them to include him! Expecting long days from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm, lots of intense physical labor as well as some pretty terrific boat building skills!

If you happen by, take lots of photos of Morgan, but don't expect to talk with him - they will have a spokesperson standing by to answer questions and prevent the craftsmen from being interrupted!

Of course - I'll post lots of photos!
