Frosty Morning Blues (another Blog Hop day!)

I hope your weekend was lovely!
We had clear, frosty mornings up on the island - what a beautiful get-a-way.
I was a felting maniac (guess what everyone's getting for Christmas?!) as the kids pieced puzzles, read by the fire and bundled up for walks on the beach - one of the perks of no internet!
The gorgeous sunrises, and frosty coating on every blade of grass and dried seed pod in our wild garden, sung with indigo and gold - a rich Split Complementary from the Warm Earthtone Color Wheel.

antique blue glass - etched and earthy - melds together with old brass.

Turns out to be a deep, rich split complementary (in the inner rings of the color wheel):

...so why not throw in some bauxite and old man-made coral too?
