Serene colors of the beach
calm and restore me
gentle waves tug at my soul
Climbing over logs, combing the beach
cares wash away like little bits of flotsam
I find my center, my balance, my self
I'm okay now
Where do you go to find your self?

Owwww Beverly these colors would fit my home just perfectly. Can I order this print???
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you're okay now. Wished I could have been there with you as you know I love to digg for treasures on your wonderful beaches.
Hugs my friend.

Your photo mosaic is so enticing. Taking time out in nature is essential isn't it? Balance is restored. Glad you are feeling refreshed Beverly.
ReplyDeleteThe woods if i can, ut there is something aout the beach. That rythmic lapping of waves, the sea foam, fresh smell of the air, sounds of the gulls... That place is healing for me too.
ReplyDeleteThe pictures are wonderful.
Ohhhhhh . . . your serene post is a wonderful respite! NOTHING soothes the soul and puts things into perspective for me than a visit to the ocean. My visits are limited to a few times a year since we live quite a way from the shore, so I've really appreciated your awesome captures today! Hugs, Terri xoxo
ReplyDeleteThat's a beautiful mosaic.
ReplyDeleteI like going to cemetaries to find myself.
So tranquil, yes! You do have a gift for putting things of beauty and color together so well.
ReplyDeleteWhen I need to find myself, I listen to music that is soft and relaxing like Loreena McKennitt...tuck myself away in a quiet room, maybe with one of the bassets on my lap and just look out the window. Things melt away.
the beach. always the beach.
ReplyDeleteI go to the beach for a long walk, but I think my beach looks decidedly different from yours. No driftwood, no rocks, no lighthouses. I walked on January 21: long-legged blue starfish had washed up on the beach from our long cold spell; a dozen species of seagulls, were all gathered together; no swimmers, just fisherman and walkers.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful images, words and thoughts Beverly. I'm still working on finding that place, but I'll let you know when I do.
ReplyDeleteSo lovely!!! The beach does it for me too - nowhere more so :)
ReplyDeletelove this beach-inspired collage!! love it!!
