Loud purring just because you are near
Finding fully mature onions in my flower bed (that I forgot I planted)
Mint infused water
Painting pears
People who stop to lend a hand
Neighbors who wave when they walk by
p.s. I painted this pear as a thank you for a neighbor who stopped to fix a burst sprinkler head while we were away (it sent a stream of water against our door jam and was flooding our sunroom, thank goodness she stopped and turned it off!)
The smell of ripe blackberries on the vine
Making cobbler from hand picked berries
Coconut milk ice cream
Pen Pals for a decade, dear Kenda and I spent a day together, talking, laughing, ducking into museums and restaurants when the clouds opened up and wandering into hidden alleyways full of color when the sun came out!
A truly delightful day that whirled by too quickly.
