Nature's Palette
Evening rays of sunshine
touched the cherry blossoms out my window
casting long shadows
and spinning delicate white petals into gold
I'm surrounded by bead soups and color wheels and getting ready for my upcoming shows. I can't help being inspired by nature's every changing palette on this gorgeous spring day.

So peacefully beautiful, makes me want to relax and breathe in the beauty
ReplyDeleteMakes me want a new camera too!
ReplyDeleteI like it that you put your color wheel behind the beads. I have been thinking of getting your system, because color combos are my biggest challenge. Seeing it with the beads is really incentive to buy the system!
ReplyDeleteThe light in this post is some of the best I have ever seen. It reminds me of weddings and celebrations, of purity.
ReplyDeleteThe top shot is spectacular Beverly! The petals look so delicate and I love all the colors in the shadows.
ReplyDeleteGlowingly beautiful!! Those bead soups are such a gorgeous way to interpret the colour combinations... Can't wait to see what you and your students make with them!
ReplyDeleteAren't we blessed with nature's gifts?
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful. And yes just as Marcia said, I long for a camera like your. (I'm starting to save already).
Oh Brandon, thanks for you lovely last post on my blog.
Again, beautiful photos Beverley. I know you have a good camera but it take a good eye too!
ReplyDeleteYour classes sound great - wish I could do one.
Thanks for your comment on my block prints much appreciated.
More beautiful photos. Nature is my inspiration too.
ReplyDeleteAHHH--always a feast of color for the eyes! Love the color wheel! Photoshop is a huge learning curve but when you learn it--it is like a whole new world opened up to you! Good luck--let me know if I can help you.
ReplyDeleteThat shot deserves a frame. Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteLOVELINESS! We are so blessed with so much inspirations from this world...~Blessings*
ReplyDeleteBeautiful blossoms and so inspiring. Had to say I just visited your web site and just love your bead technique and use of color.
ReplyDeleteJust luscious. What you do is so inspiring to me! Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI love color. It's what drives me in my felting. Your blog is so beautiful, a constant source of inspiration and delight.
ReplyDeleteThanks Beverly!
P.S color is great, but in photography light is the magic element as is so evident in the cherry blossoms.
ReplyDeleteJust looking at the photo of the flowers along with the beads that were inspired by it is wonderful. Reminds me to look around, to look everywhere.
