All my bags are packed

I'm ready to go...

So excited for the Bead & Button Show, the intense, creative explosion of color and beads! Fabulous walks along the river into the 3rd Ward. And seeing what crazy weather Milwaukee will throw at us this year. I look forward to reuniting with wonderful friends and meeting those I don't yet know. I teach a full load this year - 7 days with double classes on some days. Busy, not enough sleep, but oh so fun!

Yes, I'm excited. But being away from my boys for 10 days is really hard - I will miss them so much.

And I will miss my garden too - flowers are opening each day and some will come and go before I return. The spirea, lilac, columbine will be long gone. But new flowers will emerge.

I will miss looking out at my garden...

...and having my garden look in at me.

  1. I'll miss you and your lovely garden too! I imagine there won't be much opportunity to post with such a busy schedule but I wish you much fun and creative energy for the week... And perhaps a peek at what you see while you're there if you have a chance to capture any of it? Bon voyage!

  2. I can certainly see how you will be missing it, it's beautiful. When I'm in my yard in Texas, it's like being quiet and being able to commune with God. The wonders abound!

  3. What beautiful images... I especially love the last one with the pulled aside window curtain offering a peek inside. Your shots are always so clear and crisp! I have been meaning to ask you about the camera are you using?

Have a wonderful time at B&B
