Purple


grass covered with dew
sun rays kissing my garden
I run outside... no time for shoes
to capture the light
before colors change


Drawing inspiration...


...and expanding the palette.



For those who were intrigued by the green Alchemilla leaf with water droplets - here is what the mature leaf looks like... with a little bling of course!

It has been a wonderful Color Week - thanks to Lisa and a blogworld full of colorful people!

    I love how you show your color wheel next to your pictures. From the minute I saw your system I coveted it, since color choosing is my nemisis, but I kept telling myself if I just study the cardboard wheels I have, I'll make better selections. Well, today I decided that is NOT going to happen and excitely ordered. Can't wait till it gets here.

    Purple delight! I don't know what its real name is but we used to call that plant in the bottom left of your mosaic a butterfly bush and I loved seeing it here amongst all your other beauties 'cause it's always been one of my favourites!

    Your jewellery sets that leaf off beautifully, or is it the leaf that sets the jewellery off? Either way, they look so beautiful together. Colour week has been such fun for us colour girls, hasn't it? And I've particularly enjoyed all the lovely pictures from your garden... Gorgeous!

    I got here a little late, but it was well worth the wait. I love your riotous blooms...and the baubles which adorn some.
