In the spirit...

... of posting each day of May - a challenge set forth by Lisa (Curious Girl) - I am aiming for 21 days. So there will be a mix of long and short posts, a single photo, an inspirational color combo, what is going on in my life, musings, who knows what else?

Akebia is one of my favorite vines - unassuming, delicate flowers, light green palm-like leaves, then huge, ugly hotdog shaped fruit if you happen to plant another Akebia in the vicinity! I transplanted the white one to another part of the garden to avoid the fruit.

Winding through the lilac
Intermingling with roses

  2. That is an amazing vine. I have never seen one but you photographs of it are out of this world. The close ups inspire me.

  6. So beautiful! I've never seen this vine before either but it's gorgeous. I love things that ramble and twine in a garden.

Your photographs capture such beautiful light, colour and texture Beverly. I love the top one especially.
