Red Hot

His

Hers

And then there's Hot Pink

I just bought this new skirt

Think I'll wear it with this scarf

And these earrings

Nothing subtle here!

This Rugosa Rose bloomed just in time to celebrate pink. So heavenly fragrant, you can smell it in neighboring yards. I steep a handful of petals in vodka with a vanilla bean and a few cloves to make Rose Liqueur.

Still time to play along with Color Week! Visit Lisa for a list of sites to visit.

  6. I love the his&hers take on reds! I see hers are a bit more earthy and his quite racy...

But oh, THAT SKIRT!!! Now that is a skirt for twirling in! I love, love, love it. No-one could feel anything but uplifted in that gorgeous outfit, surely?

Also liking the sound of that rose liqueur - never tasted that before but that combination of flavours sounds just delicious to me. Do you drink it over ice, or in coffee, or just on its own? Or do you serve it over ice-cream? I'm intrigued.

  12. wow, your red post was alive! they have all been awesome, but red was really something, could almost smell & taste it! and - my bead soup came! i poured it into a big white bowl and it's on my work bench, where i stop every now & then to swirl it around & run my fingers through it. your photography is top notch, but to actually get to touch these puppies - sublime. thank you, beverly!
