Lush and beautiful

So good to be home.

Congratulations!
The winners of last week's give-away are...

Eye For Color book:
Deborah Younglao (Silk Painting with Deborah Younglao)

Choice of 1 bead soup from my Bead Soup Collection :
Debsea (Dye-ing To Be Yours)

And... I couldn't resist adding Theresa Buchle (Bead -Mused) to the list! Theresa not only knew that the inspiration for my necklace came from a sunrise, she also remembered that it was from Gig Harbor! So, Theresa - please choose a bead soup!

Thanks to all of you for sharing your fabulous color combos and for being such wonderful followers of my musings. Your comments were an uplifting homecoming for me and always make me feel as if what I share on this space matters. Please spread that good feeling and don't be shy about making comments on other's blogs - it really feels good!

My challenge to you is to click on at least 5 blogs you have not yet visited from my followers, those that comment on my blog or the winners listed above and let them know that what they do is special!

  6. Oh happy day for the winners!

And you're so right Beverly, a thoughtful comment means a lot - I feel like I've received a gift when someone takes the time to leave a few words for me. And I love that we are able to touch each other's lives through the ether in such a supportive and uplifting way. I'll happily explore a few new places... One never knows what delights and delightful people await! Thanks for the challenge - it's the kind I like.

  7. Hey dear friend. Welcome home, it's good to have you back in blogland. What a great idea about the challenge you've set for us. Lets see werer I get started. I'll keep you informed. And yes it's always a deligth to see what people leave at your blog. I've been touched many times with great comments. Just like Kendalee says, it's great to meet new people through the ether. Who would have thought this would be possible a couple of years ago. Thanks for hitting me with the blogfever. Your 'honeymoon'friend.

  8. thank you thank you for your bead soup gift! i know it will inspire something wonderful to emerge from my work table. but more than anything, thank you for being the first visitor to my blog, and for leaving encouraging words there. it really means a lot to hear from people outside one's world, a single encouraging word on a blog is many times the only input some of us get, and is the greatest treat to discover! thank you again!

  13. Even though I haven't had time to check out a bunch of blogs from here (which I will, next!) I *have* made it a priority to stop and comments on the lovely things I see in my trips through blogland. Because you are so very right... sometimes the smallest comment leads to an amazing feeling of being appreciated.
And we all need that feeling sometimes! :)
